I love the orange bodysuit but I almost missed the classic "tighty whitey" unifrom. Also very nice.
Good times. Whatever happened to the MB SS championships?
It also occurs to me, however, that coverage in the NYT might be the deathknell of something like the SSWC which poses as a renegade alter ego of mainstream bike racing. Oh well.
Bikesnobnyc is big on proclaiming things over once included in the NYT too. Perhaps it's more a product of our generation - therefore our interests - achieving the upper echelons of print journalism.
I remember the first time I heard Stereolab shlepping Volkswagens... One part says, fuckyoufuckyoufuckyou marketing department! and another wonders aloud what I'm doing with my life if a peer is the director of marketing at vw.
Anybody have the new Stereolab album? I need something to listen to in my Volkswagen. Seriously.
Funny. I've never been called a snob before. Seriously.
Oh, and Stereolab is playing here in the next little while. I was tempted to go. But I've also been salivating over the Hold Steady/Drive By Truckers show.
