E3 Prijs Vlaanderen: Done

Poor Tom Boonen couldn't make it five in a row in the E3 Prijs yesterday. He gave it an honest effort though, easily dropping the peloton while trying to bridge up to the leading group with Fabian Cancellara. In the end, however, they were unable to catch the leaders and the breakaway managed to hold on. Cancellara's teammate, Kurt-Asle Arvesen took the win. Boonen lost the sprint for 7th place to Matti Breschel and had to settle for 8th on the day.

Over in the FGBC Pool, the Little Lebowski Urban Achievers finally lives up to the hype. Ian's team gets 250 points from Thomas Voeckler's 4th place finish, and they add 90 from Hoste, 75 from Cancellara, and 5 for Christophe Mengin holding hanging in until the finish. That's 420 points. Unfortunately, it only puts a slight dent into the fortress that is Vee Vant Ze Money. Andy's team continues to look strong. He adds 365 points to give him 3340 on the season, and an 815 point cushoin to the competition.
