Breaking News: Nordic Cross edition

The cycle of life. Out of death, new life emerges.

This just in from Gianni:
A proposal:

New Nordic Cross Finale: The Hard as Fuck Ride

What: I'm so fucking sick of this shitty-ass weather. Fuck it. Let's ride.

What, for real: Contiguous, plan-it-as-you-go stage race. This Sunday, April 5. Rolling format means there will be stops - so dress for it.

Where: Start at Espresso Junction (aka Expresso Junkshon). Route will be planned as we go and will include as many feats of strength as we can contemplate.

When: 8 p.m.

Bring: Lock, beer, ideas. Maybe extra socks.

See you there suckas.
Thank-you Gianni. We love you.

Interesting.

I'm up for that.

Will there be a nachos stage? A burger stage? Feats of strength are all well and good, but food. Ahh, food...

Where can we pre register?

Food stage yes.

Register schmegister - what, do I look like the frickin' MCA?

Just show up - we'll make a go of it. This has race of the year written all over it.

Verification word: panst

Regarding the requisite beer; For enjoyment or for guzzling prior to some pointless task? To put it another way, Guinness or Lucky?
And is there a specific quantity?

Beer: well, my plans only call for one (to be drunk quickly), but since this event will hopefully be planned by a variety of people - each contributing their own stage ideas, they may have other beverage needs.

I guess there can be refuelling stops...

And don;t worry about having fully evolved stage ideas - if we have a bunch of concepts we can assemble them into a DIY race. Best not to overthink it - just let it happen.

It never hurts to carry an extra beer or two with you. You just never know when you might need one.
