We Wool Rock You!

This is pretty sick. We only need 15 orders to make this happen with a price point somewhere between $85 & $95. Can you ever have too many wool jerseys?
The only difference is the size of the logo on the back. I didn't catch if this would open for klub discussion, or whether the graphical juggernaut that is the Hipster and the CycleChick would bring down the final ruling. Thanks to them for the work on this thus far.
I believe the comment area would be the place to register interest in purchase.

Absolutely IN.

As for the logo on the back, it comes down to whether they can actually embroider it that large. No word on that yet, but I'll find out.

is a lowly CMU Cycling Club member allowed to order such a good looking jersey?

That could probably be arranged Zach.

No offense to the sweetest jersey in the world, but this might be the more sweetest jersey in the world

The Dark Lord said...

Graham, the preferred nomenclature is "sweeterest."

But it's really a non-issue, because this is the Sweetest WOOL Jersey in the World.

More importantly, do you want one?

It's official, we've met the minimum order count! I'm calling the EW+R this afternoon to get a sense of its inventory, available sizes, etc. It would be great if everyone could take a look at their sizing chart and let me know what size they need. It can be found here:

http://earthwindandrider.com/about-our-products.html#SizeChart

Payment details will be worked out after I've ensured we can get all the requested sizes and worked out the remainder of the production details. Check back in the coming days for more details.

Oh, and email me your sizing at markxreimer (at) gmail.com

Any chance we'll get some size samples?

Anonymous said...

As in samples sent here for sizing reference? No. But there is a really comprehensive sizing chart on the site. I would suggest comparing that chart with the sizing charts from whatever company made the other two FGBC jerseys, and using that as a reference.

Anyone here own an Earth Wind and Rider jersey and able to chip in?

Here's the Oregon Cyclewear sizing chart. Not sure how the chest sizes compare (O vs EW&R) but here it is anyway for anyone else in my boat. http://www.oregoncyclewear.com/wooljerseys.html

Woodcock has a size large EWR long sleeve jersey. It fits me pretty well if i can remember correctly (haven't been there in a while). I'm going to go there again and try it on to make sure, might be a good idea for some of you who aren't sure of the size.

Just a heads up - EW+R may not be the provider at this point. They have not returned countless phone calls and emails. Lame. However, I've found two other companies that say they can match the same design. Keep sending your requests to markxreimer @ gmail.com and I'll keep you all updated on when the order will be placed.

Thanks for the verbal direction Chris; I knew it didn't sound quite right.

As far as the jersey goes, I've signed a pro contract with Training Coop for the next 3 years. Management might entertain a buyout though. Or a trade. I heard Cousin Thomas was unhappy with his current status with FGBC.

You want to buy the Dark Side?

Anonymous said...

No, no. I'm just a pawn. I meant management might be interested in making a trade with me for Cousin Thomas. I should probably stop; I think this post breaches my contract. I'm only supposed to talk to my agent and lawyer about contract issues.

Cousin Thomas wants a new Training Co-op jersey to add to his collection? No surprise there.
