Sweetest Wool in the World - Washing Experiences

For those who have been using their jerseys in unfavorable weather, take note of the BF's washing tips to make sure you don't have any unexpected surprises:

"Mark,

I washed my jersey with room temperature water yesterday and it shrunk,...a little. Nothing to be alarmed about but, if people don't want it to shrink they should probably use ice cold water. I wanted to shrink mine a little because it wasn't snug enough, now it is perfect!

Lyle"

Duly noted.

We have to wash them?

I've never washed a wool jersey myself, and am coming close to two years now. But to each their own.

I washed mine in ice cold in the washing machine though and then laid it out to dry. It shrunk a bit but I'm sure it will stretch out again.
