It only occurred to me recently that the colours are not unlike those worn by the honorary captain when he won the Tour. That is fitting. These are winning colours. Thanks Tomek.

Ummmm...he never did win the tour, Pereiro did. Had the Captain's guilt remained hidden for 10 or so years, he'd be considered a tour winner, like Bjarne. But, as it stands, he has never won a tour.

It would be an interesting read, but probably would include anything we don't already know.

Pereiro would never have been allowed to win (they gave him a breakaway day lead, because he should not have been a threat that year to podium). Floyd won and then the French Lab took it away from him (they are biased - cannot be trusted - have returned A sample positives, that when B's were later tested at other non-French labs came up negative)! But, yes officially his victory was over-turned ... but I saw him hold the cup:

Floyd should have banked that two million he wasted on his defense, took his lumps and retired. He could do the Leadville 100 every year with Dave Wiens. And hang out with Ben Johnson.
