Fort Garry Buyers Club

The tradition of the whiteout notwithstanding, the Dark Side is squarely on side with the return of the Jets. Shall we pool our resources and purchase a couple of seasons tickets? Discuss.

In so far: Unger, me.

I could share one season ticket with 4-6 other dudes, if so interested.

That is kind of what we're thinking Thomas. 2 confirmed so far. Another 2 or 3 are likely. It looks like things are coming together nicely.

Stay tuned.

Anyone else who may be interested, speak up sooner rather than later please.

Totally In!

So that I can get my head around the $ involved, are we considering 3 or 5 year seats?

P.S. SOCKS!

Okay, here's the deal. Unger and I will coordinate this. We will come up with a plan for shares and decide how many people we need to make it work. For the record, we're looking at a full season package for two of the P7 seats--i.e., the cheapest ones. That's a 3 year commitment Matt.

I promise to wear my FGBC socks to every game.

More to follow. Hopefully tomorrow some time.

Hey dudes

I'm trying to throw the same kind of thing together but haven't had much luck. Here are the #'s I've come up with. If you get 9 guys together (sharing the 2 tickets) then the cheapest package would end up being apx. $395 per season. One step up to ticket level 6 would get you a better seat and move the price to $540 per season (with 9 guys). I'm considering. Keep me posted

Oh. 9 guys was what I was using as an example solely because it would divide nicely. 41 regular season home games plus 4 exhibition = 45 / 9 = 5 games a piece. Math is hard.

Cool beans. It all makes sense. I'd love to pay for a date night with another FGBCer.

Math is hard, as Swatter confirms. So to keep everything simple it looks very much like Unger and I will go all in and buy a pair of tickets on our own.

You guys should consider forming a second buyers club. We can still go out for pre-game beers and maybe text each other during the game like all the kids do.
