The (almost) annual Bring a Friend event goes down this Sunday. Maybe we'll even get some information sometime before then. Frankly, the MCA website kind of sucks right now. In any case, the BAFE runs a different format every year, it seems. What do they have in store for us this year? Either way, it's the sweetest singletrack in the province. You might want to consider being there.
Last year Johnny S was my friend. He lasted longer than I did, if I recall correctly. But both of us pulled the plug rather early. It probably won't be as scorching this year. It's also a Kids of Mud race, so there should be a good crowd. I'm still friendless at this point. So if anyone's interested in a free ride, let me know.

Shame I can't score my "bring a knife to a gunfight" hat-trick with this.
Last year I was on my over-geared Cross bike, then my over-geared, pedal smashing cruiser at the spring ride...
If I were around this weekend I think I'd try the cargo-bike for this - fully loaded with a keg or something and a 48 x 16.
Any news on the format yet?? There is just registration pages up. The MCA website is sure slow this year.
