i don't usually lol reading, but this quote is brilliant.
So brilliant that I henceforth declare it the official race motto. New poster--with motto incorporated--forthcoming.
The FULL quote, FYI, is slightly less... dispairing:
"In a little while it will be over. We may fail. But the rights for which we contend will not die."
To paraphrase some modern day pop philosophers:
'Contend for your right to party.'
I prefer the shorter version and will stick with it for the race motto.

oh ya....is LR Day a real holiday...'cause some(of us) might be
workin'....which is more immoderate than riding for 24 in the dead of winter....
It's a real holiday.
