Wildwood

(photo stolen from MUCR)

Word is starting to crackle through over the wires. Jonny G opened up a can of whup-ass and sprayed it all over the competition in the B race at Wildwood yesterday. Everyone but Gary got wet, as Jonny took second in his debut race. Sweet. I'm waiting for results, but will post them as soon as I get them. A race report and some photos would be nice as well. Luc's got a report up. MUCR comes through as well. Alberto too.
More photos from Dave D.

jonny in deed was impressive. second place on a two ton piece of steel road bike (well maybe not two tons but close to it when compared to tom's steed). 2nd place netted jonny a specialized cross tire, now all he needs is a bike to put that tire on as i am sure it will not fit into his road frame. if he keeps this up we'll have to throw the sandbagger label on him until he moves up to "a"

speaking of new bikes there were a couple of very interesting new ones at the race yesterday. first was dale cramer's new spot brand 29er complete with a belt drive - very cool. second was matt h's new (used ebay find) custom made titanium kish cyclocross bike (i'll see if i can find the pictures of it in my email). both are exceptional bikes. quickly tried matt's bike and it feels like a rocket, huge speed potential on that bike.

I'm not looking forward to Jonny getting a lighter bike...he flew past me so fast the wind blew the puke off my handlebars.

I was already to rock the B race slo-mo style and then I got an email telling me my mother passed on. Needless to say that ended it.
Hal I wasn't skipping out on my bill and I'll try and hit the cross race this weekend if I'm not in dauphin with my step father sorting shit out.

Thanks everyone,
It's weird how the great cliché just happens to be the truest thing in these type of situations.
There never is as much time as you think and you never said what you should have that last time you spoke.
