I didn't even know that toque made the cut of things we brought along. But he dug it out the other day and has been wearing it ever since. Apparently, it's because he's excited about tomorrow. He's taking part in the local version of Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day at the Triangle Fat Tire Fest. Skills clinics, rides, races, and hanging out with Harlan Price for him. I'm doing the 6 hour race later in the day. Good times.

When my son was that age, one thumb up meant "Excellent!"
If something was really special, it got two thumbs up, or was "Two excellent's".
Clearly, a day out on the bike with Dad is "Two excellent's".
