Perhaps equally newsworthy, it's not even dark yet and the results have been posted! That is very promising.

It was a FANTASTIC course... definitely technical- made use of most of the really cool features as well as plenty of smooth ski-run climbing. Kinda regret not racing, but then again riding into the wind on gravel is way too much fun!
Oh shit. Vanessa won a silver medal too. Somehow I missed that. Sorry!!
She actually got quite injured and had to walk the majority of the 2nd lap... not a happy situation for her but things are looking alright now- nothing broken.
That is not good. Hope she's okay.

F#%&* Falcon!
Achilles tendon appears to be slightly messed-up, rear wheel or hub or possibly drop outs appear to be pooped, front end makes LOUD noises and I didn't really even get out of breath because there was so little pedaling.
If anyone ever asks me if they should come race at Falcon, I will tell them not to. I might race there again, but cannot recommend this to anyone else.
