Joey's OK

That is good to know. But frankly, we are more concerned about the Tenor. He went down hard last night and wound up hanging out with the other zombies in ER at HSC. Special thanks to the kind bartender at the klubhaus who lent us her car so that we could take him in.

Get well soon, brother! We have some cyclocross racing to do.

Oh no! I hope you're doing okay, Vic. What happened?

Vic hopped a stump and found his front tire in a 700c-sized hole. He said he's never planted his face that fast into the ground- didn't even have time to get his hands off the bars. He was good to ride to the Klubhause after 10 minutes or so but once there he began to demonstrate classic signs of a serious concussion. He lost it for about 5 minutes and we decided we'd better get him to Emerg. as quick as possible.

Hey everyone
No concussionn just a bruised and slightly swollen right side of my face. I tore the ligaments in my right middle finger and now have the opportunity to wear a silly looking brace for the next 6 weeks. My poor piano playing is about to get a lot worse. I am back at HSC tomorrow am to see the plastic surgery people re my finger.
I want to thank the staff at the clubhouse, JP and Graham for driving me to the hospital, and all the FGBCers for the care and concern you showed me last night. Considering how fast my face hit good old mother earth last I am feeling very fortunate to come away with only a baged up finger and sore neck muscles.
With thanks Vic

Atta boy, Vic! Testament that you can't keep a good man down!

I wish you a speedy recovery, birthday buddy.

glad to hear you're ok Vic... Well, more or less. With a brace on that middle finger, you'll probably be cocked and ready to give any deserving folks the finger for the next six weeks! That's pretty great right?
