Glad the thumb's not broken. A couple of Birch pics are up on my blog.

What happened in the 6 lap race?

the six lap was reduced to 4 at some point, and the 4 was reduced to 3. i think the lap distance was a little longer than expected. no idea who did what in the "6" lapper. 4 lappers all went out silly slow at the start and leonard lavine took off and held on to win the "4" lapper.

great new cuts, really great course. just a little long for my 1 hour legs.

silly slow? it's all relative to your goals I guess. The course ended up being close to 13.5 km per lap, with pretty much all the cruxs/climbs available...the commissaires cut us from 6 to 4 laps, others 4 to 3...not sure how the results panned out, I got my four in just after 4pm, a good final ride/hike before this coming weekend..we pretty much booked it to Syls right after for real food, then back home to watch/sleep thru the tour...speakin of the tou, that dumb Heinie commercial is over, gtg

Did you win, Paddy?

At rhis point in the Tour, almost all the comercials are intolerable.

hells no, unless the 12 people in front of me dropped out, actually, I was there just for some last minute miles for 9 Mile and to make sure my 29er worked...and to ride silly slow, like Kev said...
