TdUSA?

This is kind of interesting. Too bad it's so far south. But it might be worth starting to think about a trip down to Indianapolis next September.

it'll be interesting to see how the get 25 "of the most elite cycling teams in the world" given that they schedule conflicts with both the Vuelta and the World Championships and that most riders are blaming doping, in part due to too many long, hard stages. 410km's! that's ridiculous!

Jonah, Ian, Dallas, and I drove down to Indy a few yrs back to race for 60+1...410 kms sounds a bit more worth the drive

...we thought we were "elite"...right Ian?

I call big bullshit on this. 410km of racing in September in the south in one day = bodybags.

Yeah, it does sound kind of like those articles that come out on April 1. But this is September, not April. A 410 km stage does sound a bit extreme. But on the other hand, it's 90 km shorter than Red Ass. And I assume it won't be on gravel.

word.

90 km's less than red ass indeed, but did any of us ride 3220 km's in the 11 days leading up to Red Ass? or have to still ride 3890 km's in the 2 weeks following???

i can't speak for everyone, but i shuddered at the sight of a bike for days after red ass.

After the burgers, drinks, and a nap at Andy's place, I think a 100 km gravel road TT would have been kind of interesting.
