We have plans

The FGBC braintrust met at the clubhouse on Tuesday to finalize plans for the Spring Ride. Things are coming together nicely. It will be grand. The roster is as follows:

It sounds like Matt will be there too. Maybe Craig, Adam, Myron, and Luke. Others?

For those leaving Friday morning, meet at my place at 9:30 am. We will leave from there and head straight to Ingolf. If you meet us there, let's say 12 noon. Looks like we'll have a nice group.

For those planning to arrive Friday evening or Saturday morning, your best bet is to head to the campground.

Take Hwy 1 past Falcon Lake to Hwy 44. From there you should be able to follow the signs to the West Hawk Lake Campground. We're in the group use area. We're back at the same site as the inaugural event six years ago. See Bergen's map. Make your way to the FGBC logo. While you're at it, take a look at that map in its original context of the secretary's old minutes. This may prove insightful for some of the newcomers. If fact, it should probably be mandatory reading. Humble beginnings indeed.

A few other items of note:

Hal has been talking big about an Ingolf night ride on Friday night. Bring lights if you got them.

The annual Spring Ride dogfest will be Saturday, as usual.

We have had a request from the F&H for a team photo. Be sure to bring the sweetest jersey in the world.

The final tally in "the book" came to $304. $50 less than last year. Maybe we'll finish this time.

The secretary has acquired a helmet cam. You have been warned.

That's all I can think of right now. But feel free to add more in the comments if I've forgotten something.
