What the Foix?

Last day in the Pyrenees and it was breakaway time on the road in to Foix today. CSC's Arvesen wins the stage by a milimetre or two over Elmiger. Hushovd takes home the sprint for 13th.

In the FGBC Pool, it was a stage to reward some of those $1 dice throw picks. Or not. There were plenty of zeroes today. The A Team wins it over Team Toulouse and the Farm Team. Zed's Dead, Baby still holds the overall lead, but Team Runner Up has started to close the gap. They now sit just 60 points back. Los Lobos Soundcheck Disaster is another 20 points back in third.

The next few stages tilt back in favour of the sprinters before they hit the Alps on Sunday. But with the kind of team tactices CSC has been playing, something decisive can happen on any stage.
