Luis Leon Sanchez wins a hard day of racing. Those guys were hauling all day long, mostly trying to take advantage of an inattentive Cunego, who found himself caught out a couple of times. He ended up 33 seconds back in the end. It looks like the Kid needs a few lessons in staying focused. That's not how you win the Tour. Kirchen holds onto yellow, even though Schumacher tried to get it back. No significant changes in the GC other than Cunego.
After the stage it was announced that Manuel Beltran had tested positive for EPO. He's gone and, like last year, there will likely be pressure on Liquigas to withdraw their entire team. Lovely.

He's on my team too. So it's not so much bashing as lamenting . But maybe this means he'll go nuts in the mountains.
You know what else weirds me out , Schume bitching about Kirchen crashing him. Did he not look at the footage before he started whining? I mean really it was freakin obvious that the rider in front of Kirchen was driving him towards the barriers and there was nowhere to go.
Schume should be glad he was even anywhere near the Golden fleece this tour.
I guess when you realize your totally outclassed (ya that's right I said it) you can throw down the bull.
