It is Thursday. On Thursday we like to cast our gaze far off into the distant future and think about how awesome things are going to be. We find that this distracts of from the fact that the present usually sucks. But this week is different. The present does not suck at all. That's because it is Giro time! The best grand tour of the season is only a few days away. It's time for vicarious racing, boys and girls.
How does it work? It is all very simple. Pick a team of nine riders from this list
Your team must be composed as follows:
2 GC men - values must add up to 5 or more
2 climbers - values must add up to 4 or more
1 TT man and 1 sprinter - values must add up to 4 or more
1 stage hunter
2 wild cards

iiiinteresting. 4-point combo for TT and sprinters, three 1-point sprinters (Cav, Farrar, Patacchi) but only one 3-point TT guy. Kiryienka should be getting a lot of love this time around.
He may get lots of love. But will he get any points?

Those of you who have played these games before will recall that usually the TTers are split with the climbers and there are two sprinters on each squad. But the Giro is a climbers race, so we changed it up a bit.
