Ass Park Crit cancelled
Please note: if you were planning on starting your (paved) Road season with the year's first Assiniboine Park Criterium, you will have to wait at least one more week. Road coordinator Gary S advises that due to unforeseen circumstances, the organizers have had to cancel the May 4th race.
According to the MCA website this has nothing to do with the return of winter, and is due to a problem with the venue (yikes!). Hopefully something else can be lined up quickly.
This means the next chance to get your skinny wheels out and race is on May 7.
P.S. - The June 15 TTT needs volunteers and a poster. Stay tuned for details following the planning breakfast.

That sucks.
Is it 12 years since the City of Winnipeg started their war on competitive cycling? Now they have finally managed to eliminate road cycling in or near Winnipeg.
Is 'cross next to go?
Cross will be okay. We are much less reliant on city venues now than even a couple of years ago. And there are other sites available should we need them.
