It wasn't even close. He won by several bike lenghts. Kinda scary. More from Pez.
The 2009 FGBC Tour de France Pool, by contrast, is very close. We all know that Andy is King of the FGBC Cycling Pool. So far, Melissa is making a strong case for the title of Queen. She and Andy are tied atop the standings with 550 points apiece. Brad the Impaler is third, with 515 points. After those three, there's a bit of a gap to the rest of the field.
The Professor, Chris O, won the first bunch sprint of the Tour. He may have picked the wildcard gem of the 2009 FGBC Tour de France Pool, Yukiya Arashiro. The Japanese sprinter from the Bbox Bouygues team was fifth across the finish line yesterday. Along with Farrar and Hushovd, he helped Chris bag the stage win with 295 points. Keith M was second on the day with 240 points, and there was a big bunch tied for third with 215 points apeice.
Results and standings here.

Hmmm...Melissa picked her team mostly based on the looks of the riders and it seems to be working pretty well.
