Thursday Anticipation

There should really be only two events on our minds this week. One vicarious, the other real.

1) 2009 FGBC Tour de France Pool [updated 7/2/09 - 5:13 pm]

13 17 20 teams have been submitted so far. A special welcome to Charlie from Eugene, OR, Jay from Durham, NC, and Keith M from Winnipeg. They join us for the first time. The rest include the usual cast of characters. But there are some notable absences at this point. The pool is spacious. There is room for many more. Everything you need to know is here. Deadline is 7am on Saturday.

The rider list is updated: Thomas Dekker and Dan Martin are out, Charlie Wegelius and Martijn Maaskant in (Wegelius as a wild card, Maaskant as a stage hunter). It sounds like there may be a few more riders caught by the doping police before Saturday. Hopefully, we will be able to get everything sorted out before it all begins. Please check back regularly, just in case.
