was wondering if he would actually win - surprisingly he did. his views on cyclists is not his only evidence of being narrow minded, his views on immigrants and gays is also quite shocking.
funny how calgary, a western and seemingly conservative enclave votes in a mayor who has 2 key policies in his platform concerning alternative transportation (including cyclist) and toronto votes in a narrow minded misanthrope.
hal's right, there's a lot more to be worried about then his views on cyclists. he's been arrested for drunk driving, possession and domestic abuse. he's compared "orientals" to dogs and wanted toronto to become a "refugee-free zone". the list goes on and on.
this man destroyed the competition in the election. people in the suburbs like their cars and money and this guys here to protect that.
