FGBC - RRR FGD Challenge: Statistical Analysis
The current score is FGBC 128, RRR 80. The past few days may make it seem like the rout has begun. And RRR is rightly getting a little anxious, bandying about notions like rallying the troops, pulling together as a team, and other such meaningless sporting cliches. But we all know that the FGBC is benefitting in this epic battle from a slightly larger body of foot soldiers. So what would it look like if the sizes of the teams were more evenly balanced? RRR has made six race appearances so far (4 by Mike, 1 each by Brad and Kevin). The FGBC has made eight. RRR is averaging 13.3 points per appearance, while the FGBC is averaging 16. Throw out Mike's DNF on Sunday, however, and RRR is also sitting at 16 points per appearance. Interesting.

curious to see how H will sort out the size factor of the FGBC vs RRR (we have potentially 7 racers, not including spouses) and I have no idea of the numbers of the FGBC- insurmountable, I presume.
Or does that not matter
I figured If I just bought the case of beer already, I'd have saved money by not racing at all.
Potentially 7 racers, but realistically 4 and by what we've seen thus far, we'll be lucky to see the 4th.
I forgot about Duester's return in June. He'll be a sure thing for a few races while he's in MB.
For the record, Team FGBC currently consists of eight licensed riders--five of whom have particiapted in a race so far. There will be a few others who are opposed to the idea of licenses, but who will participate in the license-optional races.
